A lot of us, before we are coming to terms with our gender dysphoria, It feels as if we are being irrational and that this is a punishment and often question why all of this is happening to me.
This leads to a lot of stress and sadness that makes us lonely and terrified. It also worsens our mental health. So how can we deal with this feeling? Dr Trinka Arora explains.
How can I cope with my Gender Dysphoria?
When we are stressed and we start losing hope, the first question that we land on is often, “Why me?” “Why does all of this happen to me?” This is true for any situation in life. But the better question to ask in each of these cases is, “How will I deal with this, now?” Why did it happen to me has no answer and no one can truly answer it well. Instead if we think about how we can get over this then we will be able to deal with this better. But yes this will help us see a way and a solution for our problem. Self-pity will only cause more hurt.
If we keep thinking about our past then how will we make a life ahead and how will we live it to our fullest?
