I taken 8 session lessor for chin but don't get results, Dr said it's hormonal so can't go permenantly.

divya_06235 It depends on technique of srs , if you are getting perineoscrotal penile inversion vaginoplasty they take skin of 8 cm from under the scrotum where there's hair so doctors suggest to get laser hair removal, I went for sigmoid so my inner vaginal lining is of colon and hair Free ,it depends on surgeons the inner hair growth issue may arise .No matter how much lasers you get or how many sessions of electrolysis you get so better to avoid I got sigmoid colon vaginoplasty.

As a new comer to this forum, seeing the pinned post, it gave me initially good idea about dr. Richie but going down further this feels like a Advertisement with exaggerated only positive view. I seriously doubt it anyway am just new here but this will deter me to go ahead with Dr. Richie. Since the moderators have pinned it here I doubt this might be true as well?

My vagina is self-lubricating, with excellent depth, width, and aesthetics. Even my boyfriend, unaware of my trans status, could not discern any difference. They recommend purchasing dilators directly from them, which are quite expensive (₹4,000). However, identical dilators are available on Flipkart for as low as ₹800.

Dr. Richie did not respond to my messages immediately after the surgery, as he was busy attending a conference. However, Dr. Rajat was consistently in touch with me and very responsive.

A friend of mine, Paridhi, underwent colon vaginoplasty with Dr. Richie but faced issues with insufficient width, making penetrative sex difficult. Because of her experience, I specifically requested the doctor to ensure adequate width during my procedure.

Surgery and Results:

Post-surgery, my colon was visibly red and noticeable from the outside, which I didn’t like. However, the doctor assured me it would eventually retract and turn pink, which it did over time.

Initially, my urethra was visible, and I could see where my urine was flowing from. Gradually, as I healed, the urethral opening became less visible and eventually concealed itself. I was worried and asked the doctor if it was stenosing, but he clarified that this was normal and noted that even in cisgender women, the urethra isn’t typically visible.

I experienced excess mucus secretion initially, which required me to use pads. Although I still use pads occasionally, the secretion has significantly reduced over time.

I am prone to keloids, and as a result, I developed small keloids at the base of my vagina where the cuts were joined in a V shape. This is a personal complication due to my body’s tendency to form keloids and not the surgeon's fault. I had a similar issue after breast augmentation.

Hospital-Related:

Only vegetarian food is provided, which may be inconvenient for some patients.

There is no separate ward exclusively for plastic surgery patients. Instead, you are placed with the general patient population, which can be unsettling since others are admitted for illnesses, while we are not.

You need to build a good rapport with the nursing staff and request their attention. Otherwise, they might neglect you. In my case, I made a few friends among the nurses and ensured they took proper care of me, as I was alone during my stay.

Hyderabadi_girl how did your tpa gave80% pre approval as asked in fortis ? Tpa generally give only 30-40 % preapproval ? Please guide woth this insurance methods

Ayushi03 Hi ,your surgery will cost 4 lakhs in total , insurance will give the approval for2.5-3 lakhs,you need to pay deposit of 50-90k to make it 80% .I used to deposit that will be refundable
