lana I know all the wonders having an extra degree paper does, but personally I don't like to sit in a classroom and listen to boring lectures, i dont like the way people teach, and dont like the one way conversation. I've cried a lot when my parents put me in highschool, and it just felt really dumb to me, and even though I got 85% in my 1st highschool year, I wasn't really interested in it, and I was never satisfied with the education. It just seemed very weird and "not my way of learning". It's out of the way I approach learning.
So, it's my personal decision, and I don't feel bad about it, because if I really went to college and stuff, I will really feel so bad about it and that would really hurt me. Being at home and learning things at my own phase and at my own will encourages me to learn more and it gives me lots and lots of satisfaction.
like yesterday, I finished reading a book and started reading another, I've been able to create a server using Node.js (a javascript back end environment) and made it serve HTML, CSS, and JSON files back at the requested URL(using routing). And also, yesterday I was able to make a really nice slide/switch in codepen, it's a pretty neat one.
Normally my routine would start with exercise/meditation and then a bit of journal writing to state what I'll do today and then I start off with solving Algorithms (Hackerrank) or Maths (from Khanacademy's math mission) and then move on to reading, UX/UI Design, and then working on CoHort projects (I was new to node, so I decided to learn Node.js before making a bot) and then finally work on freecodecamp projects and then at night, some journal writing.
Albeit, the way those tasks are organized is totally depending on my mood, if I don't like to do something at some time, I circle to the next move.
This way of learning is waaaaaaaaaay more fun and waaay more interesting that the normal degree or highschool way, I really feel like "ew maths, awww maaan i need to do this now, i have this project aahhh" when going to highschool or educational stuff, it kind of feels like a big chore that I have to do. but when I learn on my own, it feels like "Oh yes this is awesome I Just made MY OWN SERVER YAY!!!!!!! omg this is soo cool". There's so much difference on how that goes... ?
