Has my libido increased after HRT?
Dr Camiel tells us that a lot of people come to him and tell him that their desire to have sex has reduced after they started with their HRT. Dr Camiel is not sure if this is because they don’t have the erection marker anymore to remind them that they are turned on. Or is it the idea or thinking that desire is of one kind and that they want to feel it that way? Or maybe you have started thinking about sex a lot less than before HRT. Or maybe you are not comfortable in having sex with someone yet. But there is no proof that desire has decreased. Maybe you just think that your desire has decreased. But maybe it is just that you don’t have your erection markers anymore and so you cannot figure out that you are turned on.
