Can I get multiple orgasms after taking feminizing hormones like Cis women ?
Most of us have heard that cis women get multiple orgasms during sex. So will taking the hormones help us achieve multiple orgasms as well?
Can I get multiple orgasms?
There is a misunderstanding in how people experience orgasms. Men, we think can only get one orgasm while women can get multiple. But this is a myth according to Dr Cameil Welling. All orgasms whether experienced by cis-women or cis-men or trans or gender-diverse people need a recovery period. So the recovery period is a time when you cannot achieve an orgasm. Sometimes you don’t even want to have sex then. This is so you can wait for a while and then get an orgasm. So a lot of people get an orgasm after sex and they stop. Some of us can still have sex but will take some time to achieve an orgasm. So everyone can get multiple orgasms if you take some time in between and want to have an orgasm again. Some of us get a lot of intense orgasms and we get so tired that we want to rest after that.
Does the intensity of an orgasm affect multiple orgasms?
Yes, a lot of the time how intense your orgasm is is important. You have a longer recovery period for a more intense orgasm. Everyone can get as intense an orgasm again but the recovery period needs to pass. So the experience of hormone therapy is different. Trans women report that they experience a longer orgasm but not as intense as before. But because the orgasm isn’t as intense the recovery period is less so you can get another orgasm. However, this is not backed by research that Dr Camiel is aware of.
Do cis women have multiple orgasms?
So a lot of cis-women think thank god the orgasm is done. But some of them get small orgasms multiple times so they don’t reach that peak. Cis-women have also had a difficult time understanding their bodies and orgasms. They realise very late what an orgasm is and how it feels great. This is also because the anatomy of a clitoris has only been described in the last 10 years, it has been ignored before this.
The clitoris is not just a dot but there are multiple nerve endings there for stimulation. But the anatomy of the penis is easy to understand and there have been years of research on the head of the penis. There is a lot still to discover about the anatomy of cis women because of how much medical science has ignored them. Medical science has not paid any attention to their orgasms and their sexual life. And trans women also have similar negligence in research about them. Now there is research about which surgeries are best, which are popular and which are most successful. This is also a question, what do you consider as success? What parameters do you consider as successful? Is sex and orgasm successful in those? Trans femme and trans women, as well as cis women, have been ignored in research, unlike people who have penises.
So anyone can get multiple orgasms with enough trial?
Yes, they can. Some people might have nerve problems or some conditions that bring pain, like vaginal dryness. Because it is so difficult to stimulate and focus on feeling pleasure. So not everyone can get them because some of us have medical and psychological conditions that come in the way. There are sexologists all over the world but there is a difference between how open people are to discussing all of this. If you have problems orgasming then does it have medical or psychological reasons? There is a reason why sexology exists, a lot of us believe that sex is an important factor. But a lot of times we cannot go to the doctors and tell them because of the shame we feel. We feel like it is too personal to share our sexual problems or why something does not feel right to us. But the good thing is that there is an option that can make your sex life and your orgasm much better. Ideally, every one of us can achieve multiple orgasms but if it isn’t the case for you that’s fine too. This is not the only way to enjoy sex.
As we said earlier, sex is a full-body experience.
