“If you think you can dedicate that time to see progress and you only want a minimum possible size of implants then you can go for that. Check what is compatible and according to that select the shape and size of implants.
Implants then hormones
The other way is that you can do your implants and then continue your hormones. There is no such issue with this either. the results here are great too.
Results
There is no such difference in results in either. But if we are talking of an ideal scenario then 6 months of hormone therapy then implants would look a little different than the other method. But practically, being very frank, there is no such real difference between the two. But if you want to go with the ideal method then you should go with the hormones and then implants.
Taking out Implants
Say you have been taking hormones and your breast tissues have developed and now you do not feel the need for breast implants anymore. Would that be possible?
Dr Salil Patil assures that “If you want to take out your implants later on then there is no such issue. If the breast develops above the implants, then that’s good, it will seem fuller, and the shape would seem more rounded. The feel also will be different, even though the implant feel is also natural, but in trans people, because the skin is a little tighter it feels tight. So, because of the natural development of skin tissues, it becomes softer. So, all of these are positive points.
But in case, after hormone treatment, you feel like the size is too much, I don’t want this size, I want to take my implants out then it’s a very simple and short procedure. You can come in the morning and then in the afternoon or in the evening, you can go back home. And there is no such skin elasticity or looseness that it becomes an issue. So if you want to take out your implants, that is an option that stands and you can definitely do it.”
