vvvv2706 ok now i understand ...she asked me also what was my background with transition and about my gid...when i told her about my self medication other transition bit like laser etc.. and also i am financially stable so so ... i also answered the psych test with a cool and calm mind ....see basically they wish to make sure that you are not having any other psych disorder besides gid ...if they suspect any other issues impacting your sense of decision making then they will ask you to wait and determine back up plan about transitioning related issues.... after the tests i clearly asked her that were these tests to determine if i have gid or not ..she said no.. these were just to rule out any other underlying mental conditions etc... i think the overall situation that you had advised to them may have resulted in that advise... but i am just guessing.... best of luck for your second referral withother shrink...hugs Ankita
