desitransman Hey, actually my status also showing "process completed and certificate will be issued shortly" even though i walked in and collected my tg certificate, those website, they won't update even i called tg helpline and told them multiple times to update my status still they won't, so better you visit and meet person name sunanda she will help easily

@Kevin97 @desitransman Hi, I have a question regarding the affidavit. In the format, should I mention my new gender as female or transgender? I have a certificate from my psychiatrist.
Also, which option should I select for TG card - The first one or the revised one?

Elia I'm not really sure if you can select binary option, in ur case female if u have not undergone any surgery yet. But for mtf unlike for us ftm I think hormone therapy would be sufficient. Better make a separate post and ask this so other mtfs can help you out.

Elia Hey elia, if you want you're gender should be mentioned as Female in all documents than you can choose F marker, according to section 7. Or if you want it to be Transgender than you can choose Transgender Option According to section 6

Kevin97 Thanks for the reply. So, basically I can mention myself as female and directly apply for TG card. Do I need to undergo HRT or only having the GID is enough for this?

Elia yes having gid is enough and you can apply as female according to section 7

Kevin97 Also, I have one more doubt. I currently do not have a passport. If I have to apply one, will it be easier to mention there as female if I apply for it after changing it in the documents? Or it will always remain as TG unless I undergo surgery?

Elia According rules we can apply for passport with our preferred gender it won't need surgery proof. And also during apply it will be easier if you mention you're preferred gender giving supporting documents (Aadhaar, pan, etc) by default it won't show TG even you don't go under surgery

Kevin97 My certificate and ID card got uploaded on the site yesterday. It got issued with M marker.

I called Mam today to visit the office and collect them physically. She said she's busy with some programmes this entire week so she asked me to visit the office next Monday to collect my certificate and ID card physically.

Feeling super euphoric and relieved 😅
