I applied for TG Card and Certificate under section 7

I am from bangalore and applied on 29th October and received a call from women and child welfare department on 3rd november, and 5 mins after call I received an email saying my application is accepted. But even as of today portal status says as only submitted and the status of my application not changed. Can u let me know the steps in status like first submitted, next filtering then approved etc. like that

desitransman hello you call for women and child welfare department sunanda ma'am, in website it won't get updated properly, so after they get letter signed by DM it will be with them you call her ask you're certificate updation, if it's signed she will ask you to visit and collect.

Kevin97 Hi, thank you so much for reply. Can you please share me the details on how do I contact her? I will get in touch with her after 30 day deadline so it won't feel like I'm being too pushy.

Could you please also share how much time did it take for u to get your TG certificate and ID card after the acceptance email as I'm worried so much that my application will not be processed

desitransman mine took one month inbetween i called national transgender portal few times and telling them to update.
You can find women and child welfare office number, it's next to kidwai hospital please do call there landline number and ask for person name sunanda she's will give correct details. in website if it's showing it's under filtering stage than you have to call national transgender portal telling this. after it shows you're application is accepted in mail you can wait for 10 days and call her she will let you know whether DM signed or not. If it's signed you can collect the certificate going there it's next to kidwai hospital, better you collect certificate in person because online they won't update properly so lazy people

Kevin97 Thanks bro. I got application accepted email on 3rd November but even today after 15 days after the accepted email also I checked just now once again but the status in portal is still showing as submitted only, it did not get changed to under filtering stage till now.

How many days after getting the application accepted email it usually takes for status to update to under flitering stage? Should I wait for the status to change into under filtering stage or can I contact them (sunanda mam and national helpline number) and ask them for updates from now onwards also?

desitransman something is wrong with the portal.
Even my status is showing - "Submission successful"
It's very frustrating.
Helpline number is also useless.

desitransman if possible can you find ministry of child and women welfare number, my phone got damaged and couldn't retrieve data. I will check in online if i find there number will share it with you here. you can call her and tell the application status she will tell you further details. But it's just 15 days it's better you wait for another 15 days because usually govt work takes 30 to 45 days now if you call they will ask you to wait.

Vaishali_22 Yeah, atleast I got a call frm the dept. and an application accept email so feeling little bit ok, but if there was no communication I wud have absolutely panicked. hopefully portal issue resolved and all of us get our TG cards soon

Kevin97 Yeah I'm also waiting for 30 days deadline to complete, I will contact them regularly from December 1st onwards to get proper follow up. Yeah I am expecting delay like total between 45-90 days from date of applying because its govt work and its usually always delayed only. I will find the phone number of welfare dept in meanwhile

Kevin97 Hey, my application status has finally moved to "Process Completed.Certificate would be issued Shortly".

I just hope they won't be sending any physical document by post or any other courier to my address because it's my old PG address and I'm living stealth, so if anyone comes across the document it will be a big problem for me.

Please confirm to me whether or not they will send the documents by post so I can make arrangements accordingly. I'm only scared about that part now.

Kavyaa I have uploaded my top surgery certificate, self declaration affidavit and id proof as aadhaar card which has my old details.

One lady from women child welfare dept called just to check authenticity of my application and informed me that if I wanted transgender benefits from govt then to contact a govt survey official whose number she gave me and informed me to register in that survey, I told her I didnt need any govt benefits and I only applied for tg card so I can update all my legal documents.

She said ok and then just 5 min later I got a email saying application is accepted.

I am FTM and still no status update on portal and no further communication, will let everyone know when I get the certificate

Kavyaa Hey, just saw in portal my TG id status finally changed to "Process Completed.Certificate would be issued Shortly". At this point I don't mind further delay just waiting for call from the office to come and collect the certificate or waiting for it to be uploaded online so that I can download it.

also, yaar I really really wish such body exchange was possible but it's unfortunately not so we have to take long route by going through transition. but it only makes us more stronger 💪🏻

desitransman visit the the welfare department and collect it in hand. They won't send it by post. The welfare department is behind, NIMHANS hospital.

desitransman no they won't send by post, you can go to office which is next to kidwai hospital near nimhans and meet lady sunanda she's will be having certificate and will issue

Kevin97 Okay noted. Actually I saw in some previous posts that it took around another 30-45 days after process completed to get the certificate issued. And as of today it's been 2 weeks exactly since my status got updated to process completed, certificate would be issued shortly. I'm thinking of waiting till after new yr so I can visit on January 1st week to welfare department to collect my certificate. I'm expecting it will be issued by then.

Kevin97 My certificate and ID card got uploaded on the site yesterday. It got issued with M marker.

I called Mam today to visit the office and collect them physically. She said she's busy with some programmes this entire week so she asked me to visit the office next Monday to collect my certificate and ID card physically.

desitransman Hey, actually my status also showing "process completed and certificate will be issued shortly" even though i walked in and collected my tg certificate, those website, they won't update even i called tg helpline and told them multiple times to update my status still they won't, so better you visit and meet person name sunanda she will help easily
