PI-B type vaginoplasty at olmec

Hope u guyz are already aware of this new PI-B vaginoplasty introduced by Dr. Narendra Kaushik.

I am curious to know how is it different than normal penile inversion. And then if I compare it to sigmoid, is PI-B a better option?

If anyone has clue, please put some light...much appreciated 😊

I am yet to decide the Surgeon and the type of vaginoplasty. Ur inputs would help me a lot. 🫰✨

Recently had a consultation with him. I felt he was pushing for PI-B vaginoplasty. I do have a higher BMI so he did not recommend PPV or sigmoid colon for me. But it is weight, which I can lose as my preference is PPV. Still I felt that he was pushing the PI-B method. When I pushed him for more details on PPV he started listing the cons of the procedure highlighting my weight. Which I understand that I am not physically fit right now for an invasive procedure but weight can be lost. Which he thinks in my case is impossible without a bariatric surgery. I do however disagree with his conclusion on this.

Have only done limited research on the procedure as it was my first time hearing about it. What I can find is only by him. So I don't know how good the procedure is. Couldn't find any testimonials either.

I know that this doesn't answer your query but just wanted to add my points.

Dishsoap thank you for the response. Yeah, there is limited research and reviews, so can't really figure out what's good for myself. But do u think the appointment was just? Did he spend enough time to answer your queries and explain things in detail? Or was he just making money out of the situation, as I have heard many a times?

Ruhanika So I asked him to explain and then I was going to ask questions. So majority of the time was him explaining. Detailed enough. Queries wise he was okay. As I said it felt he was trying to push me to PI-B. So even he was trying to make money (consultation fee of 2500) I did get most of the info I needed. At least when it comes to cost of things and recovery times.

Will consult other doctors too. Soon

After discussing the different options with Dr. Kaushik, I am currently leaning towards Penile Inversion Vaginoplasty (PIB) at Olmec.

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has already undergone PIB, particularly at Olmec. Your experiences, both positive and negative, would be extremely helpful.

According to what Dr. Kaushik explained to me, PIB at Olmec has the following characteristics:

Relatively lower surgical risk compared with techniques involving bowel.
Some natural lubrication may be possible by preserving the prostate and urethral glands.
Both penile and scrotal skin are used to create the vaginal canal, depending on the individual's anatomy.
Expected vaginal depth is approximately 5–8 inches, depending on the amount of available skin and anatomy.
Dilation is particularly intensive during the first 6–9 months, with approximately 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening, according to the protocol explained to me.
Regarding intravaginal hair, I was told that regular dilation/friction can reduce hair over time. Laser hair removal may also be recommended, although it isn't necessarily mandatory in every case.
PIB is one of the techniques that Olmec particularly specializes in.

I'd especially love to hear from people who have actually undergone penile inversion vaginoplasty:

How has your experience been overall?
How is the depth after healing?
Did you experience significant hair growth inside the canal?
How manageable was dilation in the long term?
How is lubrication/discharge?
Any complications or things you wish you had known beforehand?
And, most importantly, would you choose PIB again?

I think first-hand experiences would be really valuable not only for me but also for others considering PIB at Olmec. 🙂

Just an update.....I recently visited Dr. Narendra kaushik and Dr. Richie Gupta, both for my vaginoplasty. And below are my observations...

Dr. Richie Gupta - IDK why, but he was very much focused on sigmoid colon vaginoplasty. He asked me what depth I need, to which I said atleast 5-6 inches. He then said, go for sigmoid as penile inversion can max give me 4 inches of depth. He examined my penile skin too, and again asked me to consider sigmoid only. I don't know why, but i am not really convinced with how he dealt with me that day. He didn't explain the details too much, just showed me a PPT and discussed all about sigmoid. My mom developed colitis ulcer at the age of 50. So, I shared this information with him, bcz colitis ulcer is heriditary and I may also develop that later in life, which will effect my vaginal canal in case of sigmoid colon vaginoplasty. He again insisted only on sigmoid. I am not convinced with him, probably will not consider him for my vaginoplasty. Also, Fortis is much more costlier than Olmec. Your stay at fortis will be 7 days, and doctor expects you to be in Delhi for the next complete month. 7 days stay at fortis will cost 6.85 lakhs for sigmoid. Extra days will cost you around 25K per day for a single room at fortis. So, anyways, you will have to manage your stay in Delhi in hotel for a month, to keep low cost.

Dr. Narendra Kaushik - It was my second meeting with him. Obviously, everytime he explains the techniques in depth. This time as well, he discussed all the pros and cons of both PIB and sigmoid. At first, he was also more inclined towards sigmoid, since I have an acceptable BMI. When I shared the information about my mother having colitis ulcer, he immediately asked me for PIB only. He suggested me not to take risk...and only consider PIB. He examined my skin, and said that he will give more than 4-5 inches depth. TBH, I am much convinced with his decision and will probably go for PIB at Olmec. For PIB, they will charge 3.80 lakhs with 7 days stay at olmec. They expect you to be in the hospital for 2 weeks complete, so you need to extent the stay for 1 more week. Per day cost for a single room is 5K. I find this economically better.

I would highly appreciate if members in this forum can share their experiences and results too. This is gonna help everyone considering the vaginoplasty.

Ruhanika Did you ask Dr. Richie Gupta about the estimated price for PPSFV(penile perineal scortal flap vaginoplasty)at fortis?

Marry_77 No, I didn't. Dr. Richie never shares the pricing. He just tells you the technique, and then he sends you to the councelling window, where the personnal shares the pricing for the surgery suggested by the doctor in your opd slip. They don't share any other info.

One more point I would like to add - both surgeons said that the revision surgery would be required after 6 months in most of the cases, bcz real vulva shape can be determined only after the healing is complete. For Olmec, revision surgery would cost between 66K to 1.2 lakhs.....depending if fat grafting is required or not.
