Wanted to know about Trans id and certificate issuing

So I had filled out application for Trans id and certificate about a month ago and start of this week the status changed from filtering stage to "Process Completed.Certificate would be issued Shortly"

How long does it take generally to get the id and certificate, I am in Bangalore, I did read about a discussion here that said we have to go and collect it from somewhere, but then that discussion happened back in 2023, so not sure if that's changed or not, anyone in Bangalore who recently got their t-ids?

Is the website working for you, i have been trying to access the website for 3 days and it wont work for me.

akiramujawar The website has gone kaput. It's not working at the moment. It kicks me out after i try to login and brings me back to the same page. I applied for my id in July and it still says its in filtering stage. I emailed the authority but no go. Lets see. Hope floats!

It finally started to work again.

Today I checked with the person who handles the case in welfare, she said she has sent to the DM, once the DM signs it, we will get our certificates <3

So would have to go in person and collect and or it will be posted/couriered to us... Any clue?
And would we have to bug the dm if they take too long

superwolf2908 last week after followups, applications were processed and send to DM (mine & 80-90 more).

No need to bug DM now, i already was on it since monday. He finally has processed today morning and sent to welfare department. You will get a call from welfare sometime today/ tomorrow to come and pick it up <3

Please remember that Govt processes are very slow. ALso this department doesnt have enough budget for anything!!

We had to vist many times to get the certificate process moving. and even then it took us 2 months!

I suggest you visit the Woman and Child dept and check and request.

We collected a Print out in person. Till date no card etc has been posted to us.

transmom2024 I'm in Bangalore. As @akiramujawar said, alot of application were sent ahead to dm for signing and all, I'll wait a couple days and if I don't hear back, I'll go to women and child dept to get updates on this. Thanksss

Correction in above message, DM has signed it, the welfare department will collect and do the final procedure after which they will call us to pick the certificate. She's said she will mostly do it on/ by Tuesday... uhh

superwolf2908 thursday now. I have talked to DD for this. There is a problem with the admin portal, or else it would have been done last week itself. They will be trying from DM's office tomorrow, and report the issue to the portal as well. Kindly wait.

@akiramujawar did u get the soft copy of id and certificate on portal? I got a mail regarding that today so got the soft copy...
Btw what's the area in which women and child welfare dept located? I looked up on net, saw 3 different places with similar name so kinda confused...

superwolf2908 Yes the portal is active so the final procedure was completed. You can visit Women & Child Welfare to collect the hard copy. Its beside NIMHANS hospital. (visit btw 12 - 4pm)

Hi @akiramujawar sorry bothering u so much, but did u try to update name and gender on aadhar? I'm facing some troubles there so thought of asking if u had made some progress there or not

superwolf2908 actually yes. i just got a update and it says the "Your Aadhaar Update request has been rejected due to: Invalid Proof of Identity document . Kindly update again–UIDAI".
