Health Insurance, changing details, what to declare?

Hi, so I have a private insurance cover that I'm in with my mother and I have yet to change my details and such with them.

I'm Ftm, (don't know if that matters) but I take T and have been for 4 years now. I've had surgery (top surgery) as well.

Now that my adhaar and pan and such is changed I was thinking about updating my health insurance details.

Does anyone know what we need to declare, do they need to know I'm trans? Especially if they don't cover gender surgery anyway? I may want hysto in the future though.

What about premiums and such? Any advice?

You might be the first post i have seen since joining this forum.
It is valid question and also tricky . Because its all depend on company i guess.
Whether your current one is valid for you or not. Or in case name or gender is changed in insurance company.
And what makes it tricky is that if we need to declare or tell the insurance company that if we are trans or male or female.
But you can try get your queries to them . I am sure they will give immediate answers.
I am also guessing that since in starting only they ask for full health checkup and pre disease to declare.
So they can only assist for right info. So its better to get to know from your current one.
Mostly we get to hear or read post of trans they had done surgerys with cash.
