All,

Please note hat GID is just not a certificate to attest your condition.
I sincerely recommend that you analyze yourself. Be sure and then take it forward. I got my GID doesnt mean you will also get it soon. Please bear that in mind. It depends on case to case basis.

Please note i am not recommending anys pecific doc or institution for any treatment. I am just expressing my thoughts and experiences.

SarikaSharma in the first place it is not GID but GD Fitness certificate, certifying your eligibility to go for SRS or any transition related major surgeries.

i would like to say one thing that always have faith in your psychiatrist and make sure you visit a transfriendly psychiatrist. In the first place when we use the term "Trans Friendly" doesn't means that the said professional is friendly with trans...ofcourse they are but on top of that the term means that the said medical professional has an experience dealing with cases of GD (gender dysphoria) and for god sake stop calling it GID (gender identity disorder) as it s not GID but GD ...both are two different things
