Pallavi_Verma due to lack of availability of syringes in india, i just use the insulin syringes, they work absolutely fine, but it will just take a little bit longer to fill the syringe, since the needle is so tiny. I would still suggest you go with that as they are designed to be put thru multiple uses (one to pull from the vial and one to inject). Other syringes might end up getting a really damaged needle which hurts a lot when you inject. Go with the prepackaged insulin syringes (they come in a pack of 10 sterile).
Also I want you to know that sometimes, the injection stings like an absolute bitch and sometimes you dont even feel it. (later i did realise that its due to major factors like improper pinch method, or getting the angle slightly off, sometimes it was purely because the alcohol used for sanitisation hadnt dried off yet). Dont worry about them too much. Also subq injections tend to somewhat cause ball type scars underneath the skin temporarily for a few weeks. If you do end up getting those, switch the injection site and let it heal. (and if you want to completely avoid all these issues, you can directly administer it with a IM syringe to your thighs, like you would with lupron). IM apparently also hurts less with estradiol suspended in oil. Sometimes the oil also stings.
Before injecting dont forget to put it in your boobs or armpits to heat it up a little bit (makes it more painless) and also obviously sterilise with alcohol swabs after that.
