PAN details update through NSDL online services

I was told that I could get my PAN card details updated using the online portal here. On my recent attempt it came back saying that the request could not be completed because the name on my Aadhar Card and the one I've requested don't match.

So I suppose I need a walk-through on how to post the application on the portal correcty.

I have updated my Aadhar Card with biometrics and I have the TG certificates as well.

I tried that because I couldn't figure out a way to upload the TG certificate and ID. So I just thought I might be able to do it through the updated Aadhar Card.

andiHere there's a helpline number on the website. Try calling.
I remember having to call because there was a problem i had. (Not in this context, this was before).

It takes a while to connect, but they might be able to put you through to right person to contact.

Since in the status it now says that the application has been accepted and that a new PAN will be dispatched shortly, I thought I'd update my method here.

Use e-Sign.
Fill in the form with your updated details.
Manually upload your documents - TG-ID, TG-Certificate, Updated Aadhar Card and a photo of your old PAN card.

Take care of using the correct file formats and sizes with the website.
