mizu I don't think transitioning to E from T is relevant for laser setting. From my understanding of the physics involved. The setting will be just on your skin tone and hair color. (And pain tolerance š¤·). They want to optically target the darker hair follicle while minimising absorption by skin.
Cycling from E to T could be a factor though. As fresh boosted T will promote forming, growth of new hair. So it can become a game of whack-a-mole.
If you're Mtf and they're assuming you're male there may not be much to configure I suppose. And the reduction estimates will be on the conservative end.
Did you notice any hair falling off? If the laser worked, you some may pop off on their own or pulled out easily with some assistance. Try combining them outwards gently and see maybe, if possible.
Regarding the facial hair dysphoria. I know how awful it can be. I face it too. A face mask has helped me relieve it at times. Get a cute, stylish one and you'll be back to feeling nice for a bit : )
