I am looking for trans-friendly affordable laser hair removal clinics in Bangalore. Also, I haven't decided if I should get laser hair removal for my whole body or just my face... I would appreciate it if people share their experience and guide me a little cuz I am a little lost here.

Only a very rare young amount of individuals have said they have lost hair in body, and it also takes 2-4 years.

So, if you are looking for a safe option always go for parts package instead of whole body ( choose which organs that have hair and leave the rest).

P.S: Lupron and laser is a better option.

Try skinnsi. They have full body affordable packages at reasonable rates. The therapists comes at ur home for sessions.. not sure of face laser though

Any experience on IPL? First hand or through others.

I am thinking of getting the Braun device. For parts i can do myself. And the more expensive laser treatments for more sensitive or stubborn hair areas needing specialist care..

IPL=(Intense Pulsed Light). Same concept as laser but broader wavelengths.

I have tried places like Sparha Aesthetic Clinic and VLCC and both are eager to juice out money out of you. There is no doubt that they will use your transgender concept as an insecurity to tell you what you should do to look flawless like a woman. However it should be clear to you what YOU WANT and not what they want. Am just gonna share my experience with both so that you have a heads up if you (or anyone) is deciding to go with them...

Currently I am going with VLCC which charged me 40k+ INR for 12 sittings only for Facial hair removal but they don't have the technology to deal with "male" facial hair (I hope u r understanding), it will be painful af when they will use it on your face.... so they managed to opt me in for "Skin hydration" which apparently will work to thinner my facial hair for better removal of hair and comparatively much painless (which charged me 54k INR, after negotiating from 64k INR). Not to forget that I use Lupron as my T. Blockers.

Regarding Sparha, they charged me 20k INR for just 5 sittings. They tried to use my looks to gain leverage on me and while undergoing session they started uttering bs like "If you undergo top surgery, the facial hair decrease, which is also what we offer" while the owner of the clinic tried to offer all sorts of surgery (top and bottom... facial feminization... etc etc)

Now, so far I have seen better results with VLCC compared to Sparha and staffs were good for those (except VLCC WILL CALL YOU SIR IF THEY SEE Facial hair [Dysphoria alert] no matter how feminine you dress or look with mask whereas SPARHA kept calling me ma'am regardless my look)

Undergoing treatments to achieve the ideal body or look is NOT gonna be cheap so I would really not recommend to go with cheap option as that can mean compromising the experience they might bring to you. The reason I chose VLCC because no matter where I go in India, they have a branch there where I can continue my treatment and also they have much more experience on laser treatment than other places I Google up in Bangalore. But I would be glad to know if there was a cheaper and reliable option under those cards

@JeLi I reached out to my dermatalogist for facial laser hair removal. She is charging 5k per session but says face hair will be removed between 8-10 sessions.

Is there anyone who has a successful full facial hair removal in bangalore
and what should be my expected budget for the same?

Like I mentioned before. You can never opt in for a cheaper method as it involves higher risk of messing up your skin. 8 to 10 sessions are pretty much the basic advice given to almost all MTF transgenders since the facial hair is so thick that it would need frequent treatments at shorter intervals. In my opinion keeping a budget of 50k INR should be good enough to easily keep yourself at a level where you get best experience and best result. However the process is lengthy but worth it.

I still recommend opting in for Electrolysis as you don’t have to deal with the headache of maintaining it over and over again.

The budget I mentioned is for at least 10 sessions altogether that spreads across months depending on your facial hair growth. There can be better alternatives but I am sharing what I am aware of. I would

payi Have u considered epilation?..I recently bought Braun Silk Epil -720..I use it to remove my body hair..It is really great ..Much less hassle compared to waxing and is more effective and painless

It is a gamble yes. Of significant amount. Thus asking for prior personal experiences.

From peoples reviews, laser is also hit or miss. With this, atleast one get's to try unlimited "sessions", or maintenance, if it indeed works fairly.

Does anyone have any experience with skinnsi for facial hair removal? I got one session with them and notice no difference after the first session. I'm a little confused as some videos say you should notice effects immediately after the session, while others say it takes 7-21 days for "shedding". I cannot find anything conclusive either way. Would appreciate any info on this, or first hand accounts about how it worked for you.

Also, should I tell the dermat I am on T-blockers and going to be on E soon? Does this help them configure the laser or something? Skinnsi also seems to offer treatment at their center now, I wonder if they have better trained professionals there than at home...

(Also, coping with facial hair dysphoria for 3 days of no shaving after the laser is just painful, since facial hair is my worst trigger... 😭)

mizu I don't think transitioning to E from T is relevant for laser setting. From my understanding of the physics involved. The setting will be just on your skin tone and hair color. (And pain tolerance 🤷). They want to optically target the darker hair follicle while minimising absorption by skin.

Cycling from E to T could be a factor though. As fresh boosted T will promote forming, growth of new hair. So it can become a game of whack-a-mole.

If you're Mtf and they're assuming you're male there may not be much to configure I suppose. And the reduction estimates will be on the conservative end.

Did you notice any hair falling off? If the laser worked, you some may pop off on their own or pulled out easily with some assistance. Try combining them outwards gently and see maybe, if possible.

Regarding the facial hair dysphoria. I know how awful it can be. I face it too. A face mask has helped me relieve it at times. Get a cute, stylish one and you'll be back to feeling nice for a bit : )

mizu I didn't notice much difference until 3rd laser session. Wait for the shedding to be done. It takes almost a week for it i guess. Taking E will not slow down the facial hair regrowth.

mizu also which laser you're taking diode or Nd-YAG. I heard diode gives faster results.
