Megha megha i dont think doctors who are not experienced in after care for tg folks like us and not knowledgeable on dealing with side effects of hrt often give incorrect diagnosis...thats the problem i have faced with both endos ....i was expecting more knowledge and sound advise rather than popping pain killers to ride the testicular pain....like i said the urologist clearly saw that my ultra sound and urine routine are clear and normal ....if he would.have had knowledge of aftereffects of hrt like debilitating testicular pain and complete immobility he would have given more sound advise to treat it and more importantly manage it while being able to continue hrt....just because none of the docs i consulted gave me a believable answer and my condition got worse on day 3 after continuing hrt regimen ...i had to stop it in order to get my head around following
1.finding peers who have successully ridden and managed this side effect and confidently continued hrt .
2. Getting to a endo or doc who can give sound advise to me on how should i manage this as like i said in past whenever i have tried to go on hrt this problem has reared it ugly head in the first few days or weeks itself...and every time it has been debilitating ....clearly as i havent come out to anyone ...i had to hide the reason behind this problem being suddenly arising out of no where..?
But this time i was confident that since i am under medical supervision this will not be a problem ....and clearly i told whomso ever i consulted about my transition...and no one had a clue of this issue......however in western tg boards like susan and reddit etc...there is so much awareness on this and many similar cases ...but no indian scenario or case in my knowledge....???
I wish india also had so much experienced endos as abroad and sound guidance on management of these unwanted terrible side effects....still gutted and trying to improve my medical condition ....
