1) Compared to GCS, an orchiectomy is a minor procedure and it's also performed by many surgeons on cis men too for the treatment of testicular and prostate cancers. So most surgeons will do this procedure under informed consent. Mine was done like that. But some surgeons may ask for a GD certificate, so it might come handy. But it's not mandatory to have a GD certificate.
2) Also the aftercare depends on the type of surgery you have.. Mine was simple bilateral orchi so there was not much tedious after care required and the recovery was also quicker. But if you are going for a inguinal orchiectomy, then there is more after care involved and also the recovery time is longer too. But speaking in general a simple bilateral orchi is better as long as the surgeon makes the incision in the middle (midline raphe) of the scrotum. So this has to be discussed beforehand during the consultation itself. Your surgeon will tell you during your initial consultation about the required blood work and scan or xrays etc...
3) And yes you might need somebody with you after the surgery to either drive you or help you for the first couple of days since there might be some pain from the procedure. For me it was my dad who accompanied me to the hospital and back home. You will need good amount of rest to recover properly. I was sent home with a jockstrap style dressing and was advised to wear really tight underwear for a couple of weeks to prevent an Hematoma. Also no straining during bowel moments as there is a risk of your incision opening up.
Other than that there is not much to the hurdle as long as you strictly follow the advice of your surgeon.
My apologies, as I don't know much about surgeons in Mumbai as my surgery was done in Chennai by Dr. A.Sivakumar of Desire Aesthetics.
I think @Transgenie or @orange can help you with finding a good friendly surgeon in Mumbai.
