Guys, I think it completely depends on your inner persona, attitude and spirit. If you carry yourself with confidence, poise and are mindful about your femininity and all that, trust me : You would be treated better than how a lot of people treat women. And who said all cis-women are treated in the same fashion? Most cis-women face a lot of discrimination, abuse and second grade treatment by the misogynistic junta. See, it has nothing to do with labels - it has all to do with misogyny, power equations, and shame. Whether somebody calls you a male, female or a transgender - that is completely ok as long as it is accompanied with respect for space, respect for human and consideration. My own sister still insists on calling me bhaiya and then refers to me as she and we do all the girly talk. Thats her choice - She says she needs time to completely align my female name with my persona - and that is completely cool with me. When my own blood needs time, it is but natural that society would also need some more time.
