Dr. Gurvinder Kalra is a good psychiatrist and has experience with trans patients.
Currently he's not in Mumbai, but conducting consultations via Skype from Australia

Kakablu if u are above 18 then no. If a minor then u will need Ur parents consent

He charges Rs. 1200/- per session (1 hour long) and Rs. 1000/- for the letter. The number of sessions can vary for each case but expect at least 5-6. The letter was good enough by itself to get me HRT from my preferred endo in Mumbai.

I'm gonna be financially ready in a month to begin with my medical transition. And I need a good psychiatrist and endocrinologist. And I have read mixed reviews about Dr. Dhiraj Kapoor. Now i'm really confused where to go. As i have heard he is the only experienced Endocrinologist available in Mumbai. I really need help

Anamika13 I been consulting Dheeraj Kapoor from past 1 & 1/2 year. He is very Trans friendly and the only issue is Fees. It is around 1500 or 1800.

AnuLuna actually when I searched this question on google it i found out that one girl answered to a similar question to mine saying he put her on a very high dosage and also on brand of hormones which were very harmful. That is the only reason why I didn't wanted to go to him

AnuLuna can I just book an appointment with him and then when I reach there will I be able to see the psychiatrist and him at the same day? Is it possible for all of it to happen on the same day? What was your experience?

You can call Kokilaben before hand and mostly he will be available.
