Carrot There is no set path and everyone's transition journeys are unique, and people only take the steps that are right for them. For MtF or Trans-feminine people, some common steps include
- Voice Training
- Permenant Hair Removal
- HRT
- Bottom surgery
- Top surgery
- Facial Feminization Surgery
- Makeup, clothing, gait, posture and other presentational changes
A typical path as you've read us to first get your diagnosis and a letter of support for HRT from a Psychiatrist, resolve and mental health issues and then take that letter to an endocrinologist to get you started on HRT (which could just be T-blockers at first followed by estrogen) after testing your physical well being (liver health, etc), and then typically after an year of being of being on HRT you can go to psychiatrist for a letter of support for bottom surgery
@Transgenie can help you find a psychiatrist and other specialists as needed
There are a lot of good articles on the main site regarding various aspects of transition - https://transgenderindia.com/
