arshabala Yes, I think the first step is to get your name changed through advertisement in the newspaper. Then with your transition documents, you can apply to the University for change of name and gender in the records and issuance of a new certificate, which is very time consuming, but you will get it. You can share your work experience in other companies why not? Start looking for companies which are transfriendly, just in case. Always better to keep Plan B. The steps which you might have to follow, subject to correction by others, is like this:
1) Get GID
2) Start HRT
3) Change of Name and Gender
4) Apply to School, Passport, Licence, Voter ID authorities for change of name and Gender. They will ask for all relevant documents, which will be from your GID onwards.
Remember, No.4 is going to be very time consuming as we have the desk staff who don't even know what gender dysphoria is or whta a transwoman or transman is. These are people who only know about Man, Woman and Chakka/Hijra. Do not try to fight with them, because they will only increase your agony manifold. Tell them to put these papers to their senior officer and always try to get in touch and insist on meeting or communicating with their senior.
