Lic staff is very very lazy & difficult to work with. I am also trying to change my Gender & name on my LIC life insuarance policy . But the office staff is very lazy & ill-informed about not so usual procedure. And they dont bother to ask the office above them. I told them that i understand its complicated for them to decide on such issues , and requested them to scan all my documents & email them to their higher office, But to my suprize the LIC officer told me that LIC does not use E-mail. I was shocked. 1) I gave him my application with copies of all the legal gender change documents . For 2 months there was no action taken.
2) Today I raised a complaint on grievance addresal tab of their customers portal https://www.licindia.in/Home-(1)/LICOnlineServicePortal
now I wait to see if any action will be taken.
