Many nations are being overwhelmed by illiberal, anti-democratic, anti-intellectual, anti-science masquerading as right to religious freedom and bizarrely making claim to alternative facts and alternative science to justify stealing the rights and liberties, invalidating the very identity of law-biding citizens.
I have read in prior posts in this thread, I presume either out of willful ignorance or intention, the gross oversimplification that Transgender Identity is a capricious matter of self-expression, that gender identity is an invention in conflict with Cultural Tradition and Human Biology.

All of this had been understood for countless millennia, dating back to the earliest Vedic writings to be a spectrum of identity and that did not change until the children of the Indus Valley were subjugated and forced to assimilate the culture and values of the British.
I do not say all things European are to be case away in some misguided purist fervour of Indian Identity Politics but I do find it almost incomprehensible who so many nations wilfully chose to assimilate the very worst forms of thought and behaviour of our former colonial oppressors. We must stop this twisted effort to cover up bad motives with the self-seeking, self-serving rationalized pretence of a good one.
Enough of the class bigotry (colour, caste, class), enough of the religious intolerance, Enough of widespread sexism and misogynism, enough of the homophobia and people policing each other's sex lives, enough of this modern gender policing and these feeble attempts to use bad science to justify that which contradicts the basic social contract promised by every democratic government on earth and violates the oldest spiritual principles found in the world's oldest religious traditions.
We are decent loving people who demand equal rights earn a living, achieve prosperity for our families, and for God's sake, live in peace.
