I wanted to ask for some help or guidance if possible.
I'm already on HRT and have officially started my female-to-male transition. I’ve received my Revised Transgender ID, which confirms my gender as male.
Now, I’m planning to update all my documents – Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, and any other official IDs. I want to get this done so that everything is aligned legally and practically.
However, I’m a bit confused about the next steps:
Do I still need to publish a name and gender change in a newspaper and gazette, even after receiving the TG ID?
What documents do I need for each update (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.)?
How long does the entire process take?
I live in Mumbai – so I want to know where and how I can do all of this from here.
Honestly, I’m feeling stuck right now and just want to complete all my legal documentation without further delays. Any help or pointers would mean a lot.
