Hi everyone, i am new to this forum and have been seeing a lot of informative posts which i can relate to. Before signing up here, i have already finished my breast augmentation as well as my vaginoplasty surgery i guess may be 2 months back. I m surprised to see no mention of vj transgender clinic anywhere here when we are talking about surgeries. It is based out of vizag. i am basically from Hyderabad and working for an MNC. i heard one of our community members talking about the clinic and started researching it. After Dr. Narendra Kaushik channel, i think the most authentic seems to be theirs. There are a lot of postivr stories of patients and i personally knew few of them.
So, coming to the surgery, i have enquired about all the 3 procedures and decided to go with sigmoid colon. my BMI is around 22 and i am fit for the surgery. Surgical profile is done on day 1 and psychiatrist, endocrinologist and cardiology fit certification is done on day 2. My surgery is done on day 3 of my admission. I was told not to eat anything or drink water too. i was happy with the way things went before the surgery and i was properly taken care of.
The surgery took around 3 hrs to complete and i was shifted to ICU post that. I was awake after 2 hrs post procedure as told by the nurse there. There was initially pain and sense of discomfort which was felt . i was restless for the whole day but things started to settle down from 2nd day post procedure. i was amazed by the way they have taken care of me. after a stay for 2 weeks at the centre, i was discharged and i was doing better post that. Its been almost 3 months post procedure now and i am very well equipped to do my job.
Special mention has to be given to the chief surgeon Dr. C VIjay Kumar and consultant surgeon Dr. Anusha for being so helpful and patient with me .
