Submit a Request to the Principal: Write a formal letter to the Principal requesting a change to your name and gender marker in the school records.
Principal's Communication with the DEO: The Principal will then draft a letter to the District Education Officer (DEO) office, requesting the necessary documents, including the Study Conduct Certificate, Admission Form, and the School Entry Register.
Submission to the Mandal DEO Office: Once the documents are collected, submit them to the Mandal DEO office along with the following:
Annexure 2
Transgender Certificate
Original SSC Certificate
Transgender ID Card
Surgeon’s Certificate
Certificate from the Health Department of TG (can be obtained from Gandhi or Osmania Hospital)
An Affidavit declaring all details
Processing by Mandal DEO: The DEO office will require 1-2 months for processing. After verification, the Mandal Educational Officer will visit the school to confirm the details, following which they will issue a letter addressed to the Commissioner of Secondary Education.
Submission to the Commissioner of Secondary Education: Submit all collected documents to the Commissioner of Secondary Education’s office. The processing may take an additional month or more.
Follow-Up for Finalization: You will be contacted once the file is signed. The file will then be forwarded to the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) office, Chapel Road.
Inquire at the DGE Office: Upon receipt of the file, visit the DGE office to inquire about the status of the file and expedite the process if needed.
DGE Office Mandal-Specific Inquiries: At the DGE office, visit the respective room for Nalgonda District and ask about your file’s status.
School Collection: The office may direct you to return to the school to collect the certificate, indicating that the file will be forwarded back to the school.
Principal’s Request for Duplicate SSC Memo: Once the file returns to the school, obtain the file from the school and request the Principal to issue a letter for a duplicate SSC memo.
Submission of Duplicate SSC Memo: Submit the following documents to the relevant authorities:

Duplicate Certificate Form
Letter from the Principal requesting the issuance of the duplicate certificate
