Hmm, even if you don’t go through with the bottom surgery, I would recommend getting the words “gender affirmative surgery” or something of that sort somewhere in the certificate if possible, conditioned on your surgeon willing of course.

Unfortunately, the chances are high. Despite me having ALL necessary documents according to their own document advisor (surgery certificate, affidavit, newspaper ads, etc.), the PSK still escalated my application to the RPO. I had to waste another day and go to the RPO. Thankfully, the RPO people were decent. But if the PSK gives you unnecessary trouble, I highly recommend you lodge a grievance on the passport portal; things go relatively quicker then.
