Hi Everyone,

How can update their name and gender on a CBSE 10th Marksheet?

One of my friends recently completed the process of updating her 10th marksheet under the Telangana Board, and it took approximately 15 to 20 days.

I would like to know the procedure and timeline for the CBSE board to update there Gender and Name on 10th Marksheet,

Ankitha I have sent multiple emails to the CBSE board team, but I have not received any response from them. I also consulted my school principal regarding the procedure to update my gender and name on 10th marksheet; however, they are unaware of the process.

Could you please guide me on how to proceed and whom to contact for further assistance?

Mayadm ok how to change name on 10th marksheet

You have to go to CBSE head office in your state. Provide gazette notification of name and gender change.
CBSE will give an affidavit and you have to fill it.

There is an issue with how they would interpret change of gender. They might ask for SRS proof.
If then, show them TG 2020 ACT.
They should comply with it.

My all documents are changed through gazette except CBSE ones so I went to my school and they sent my request to cbse but now cbse asked me to have an tg card too ?why do I need it right now,the official said you need this card and certifcate of identity and gave me this response on a paper and I have transitioned medically and surgically complete both but if everything is changed why do I need this another extra identity card I never went for tg card because I thought gazette is enough but now they are asking such document too
