Alternatives to progynova and diane

Hello MTF people,

I am taking progynova 2 mg and diane 35.
But I found their alternatives with same chemical composition. For progynova, there is Emiphil 2. And for diane 35, there is krimly.
Has anyone been prescribed krimly and emiphil? How is your experience? Do these equally work as progynova and diane? M asking bcz these alternatives are available at almost half rates.

Mr_fbits lemmi be honest....effects or affects would be individual. For my case, I have been taking diane since my hrt started, and luckily everything is good so far. But many people do face issues with diane, like liver kidney malfunction, blood clots, etc. So, take it for 3-4 months, get ur LFT KFT and lipid profiles tested...and if everything seems good, diane is working for u.

Ruhanika I have earlier used Estradiol valerate and spirinolactone from alternative local brands, in my experience it did give me certain physical changes such as the breast bud development and mild fat redistribution, but my blood profiles never attained the ideal hormone levels. As a result I had clinical depression (my Psychiatrist was suggesting it can be due to low hormonal profile ) it was just an assumption though. I have then started using Leuprolide and Progynova and I my blood parameters have improved. And as you mentioned it's very subjective, each drug acts differently with each individual so it's all trial and error until we get the desired results.

Arohi99 correct Arohi, these drugs work differently on each body and we can never make out until we try. So one should try for a certain timeframe and then look for the desired results.

Ruhanika isn't Diane risky to take? Also have you thought about using gel?

Dishsoap it is...as I mentioned above. However, the effects are individual. For me, it worked, so I never thought about gel. For many, it may not. Hence a good endo should intervene
