It's my 25th day post op , I am recovering well ❤️🩹 No complaints so far ,I lost a lot of blood so having juices and healthy food to compensate the loss
Pain : I wouldn't say there is absolutely no pain. I do have painful , I am unable to stand for long time,there are stitches which run on both the sides of labia majora till down of vagina ,they are self dissolving, even I cannot sit for longer duration.
How do I define the pain ? It's as though you had a tight errection and you are wearing a tight underwear, It's continuous but very much manageable.Pain frequency is 3/10 . You can manage it .Even at night time it aches a lot as though someone has tightly tied or tucked the penis for longer duration you will not be able to sleep 💤 but it happens sometimes.
Dilation :
I was asked to dilate 3 times in 24 hrs ..but I am able to dilate 2 times only ! Due to work and no privacy .Dilation requires time ,privacy , patience...you need to clean the dilators everytime , prepare betadine solution and also clean everything post dilation ....so it's a little effort ....my reason to choose sigmoid is to avoid dilation in long run lol 🤣.....at some point you'll be like ugh I don't wanna dilate ! . But thankfully there is no pain , no bleeding nothing so far during or while dilation
I am currently dilation for 15 mins, 5 mins all the smaller dilator starting from 1,2,3 and then progressing for larger dilator 4 for 10 mins .5th dilator I tried it but it went half way in I was scared so I thought why do I have to put pressure,once everything heals I shall try . For now initially we need to maintain depth , width can be achieved later aswell .
Literally dilation saps all the energy ...I feel so tired after dilation😑
Mucus and smell:
There is absolutely no smell , mucus secretion is thick I am using sanitary pad ...I use only one pad which I cut in two halves ...so one pad in a day is enough ...mucus is thick so it gets absorbed and stays on pad like a lump which can be removed with a tissue paper easily from pad ..it doesn't make pad dirty !
There is no bleeding ...
I am douching my vagina neatly and clean it with betadine: saline solution.
