Evangeline Hi All, So i been thinking about this lately, Has anyone here did a Cryopreservation(AKA sperm freezing), I'm going to start HRT soon and want to have biological children in the future. Any experiences/ideas would be helpful. i'm from Chennai.
hero Evangeline Hey there. I think any gud ivf speciality centre would know on the cryo. Give prashant chetpet a shot or even ishwarya fertility. All the very best ?
Megha Evangeline I did it, in Delhi, luckily at a very reasonable cost. Most Ivf clinics do it but for not more than 6 months and charge a lot. It's better if you find a cryobank near you.
Evangeline Megha Hey could you please share the hospital details, I checked the price of Most popular IVF centers in Chennai and It's coming around 10K per year, I would travel to Delhi if the price is lower.
anamika Just to let you know my inputs, I have done it in Milann, was comparatively very costly: 15k per year
Skyler Any legit clinics for sperm cryopreservation in Mumbai? Any opinions/reviews of Babyquest Dadar/Mulund?
Hasini Suman hello, Inability to produce sperm doesn't necessarily mean that person is infertile. You need a doctor's confirmation for it.
Tsjazzleo Suman one can always try sperm preservation followed by TESA One thing more that the stored sperms have a viability for approx 10 yrs only And cost for surrogacy is quite high
[deleted] Akanksha HRT reduces fertility. So it reduces the child birth potential in future. If you stay on HRT for more than 1-2 years then it will be completely gone. I heard there are some medications that help with this but not sure.
[deleted] Akanksha Yeah if you are considering freezing then it's a good idea to do it before starting HRT. Because in this time the sperm retrieved will be healthy.
