Kamlesh First of all big thanks for responding.

However I want a clarity that suppose I am on HRT for 1 year under due consultation and supervision of doctors and now my Sex reassignment surgery or bottom surgery is scheduled.

So, my question is can I go with SRS directly or I have to take permit of the magistrate of my city or present myself before him only then I will be allowed to do SRS because I read somewhere and infact in some YouTube videos also that the permission of magistrate is required before SRS.

Amrit No Never!

SRS is your choice not need any kind of permission from anybody except if your age below 18 that case only your parents support required.

you don't required permission from any one for SRS.

you can start to change your documents befor SRS also.

Please firstly apply for TG card than revised TG card. once you get revised TG card than go for change your documents.

surgery is a personal decision which is affirmed by the honourable Supreme Court also so you do not need to present yourself in front of any government officer. For this only thing is a few doctors might ask you to get an affidavit saying that you understand the risk of going through the reassignment surgery, but other than that, you do not need to take anyone's permission, other than your doctors recommendation, letters that you're finished one year of hormone replacement therapy.

Kamlesh if there is a gd certificate they can go for the revised Id card directly

Realneilbruce Its depending upon DM offices, some of issued directly revised TG but some need to first applied for TG after getting it than go for Revised TG.

as per my understanding from community who applied first TG than revised TG get easily.

That might be how the DM operates but as per the Ministry that's not compulsory and they also have the guidelines if a person comes with medical intervention certificate you can directly apply for revised TG ID and Certificate, if you don't have medical intervention certificate then you can only declare on affidavit you are transgender, btw this is also mentioned in Section 7 of the Rules 2020, so its not upon the DM to first make you apply for TG then Revised TG ID its upon you to do it if you have all the documents

Can we get affidavit also online e-stamp..any one did or can guide.

Non-Judicial Stamp paper is generated online in lot of states
the affidavit you can send the format and get it online but its expensive so better to actually buy the affidavit yourself type the matter yourself and then get the matter printed properly on the stamp paper then get it notarised and use it
