The reviews seem to be mixed. Many being some what certain that they have seen reduction. Then it is a supposed to be a low powered device when compared to the professional ones so it may take time. However the cost is not exactly chump change to just get it to test it.

And btw, its fair to not that many reviews online are shills so.. there's that to consider while reading reviews on online marketplaces like amazon. I've for sure read 5-6 reviews (on amazon, nykaa) that had pretty much the same content and flow just worded differently.

Are you able to source the Philips one? Can you share how.

I've heard it's better than the Braun one, especially also for indian skin tones. But that was from one person only (a youtube reviewer who has iirc tried both).

It's double the price here though, last i checked so that totally changes the value equation. In Europe/UK they are similarly priced.

Oh! And if you do get it, don't forget to patch test first! Stay safe gal.

I've seen some pictures of patchy (rectangular) hypopigmentation in some research study. Better to have it tested on leg or someplace before trying face.

Hi, I have not used Braun IPL Silk Expert Pro 5 personally, but my Hispanic friend has. She says it's good for touchups, arms, and legs but we may struggle to get satisfactory results on facial hair if never had any professional laser treatments before.

I'm not sure if Hispanic and Indian skins are comparable.

I feel its much effective in light or white skin compared to the broen, wheatish or dark skins
