princess32 Yes, you will be able to hire body guards, if you really feel that you need them.
Can we know your approximate location (state/district)? Trans acceptability varies by where in the country you are I suppose.
For most places for regular stuff like going shopping, salaried work etc, one imo doesn't need that level of protection as a trans person.
Ofcourse if you enter politics or get onto crosshairs of powerful people or those resitant to change, maybe you might need them. Or if you are venturing dark alleys or secluded places without company. In general though you shouldn't need to worry this much. Just having a companion along is sufficient to dissuade most common opportunistic harrasers (some can try to get touchy or rude anyway).
Most trans people aren't imo as rich to hire full time body guards, and even if there were some that are, usually trans people also tend to keep a low profile about their trans status. so i doubt we'd be able to find many public examples. What i do know is there are trans lawers and judges in India, and i am sure they are offererd the same security any other judge in their position would be offered.
If you feel having a bodyguard with you would help you feel safer, good for you. And you can certainly find them (if you can pay).
If possible, hire a few from the trans community in your body guard rotation when/if you get bodyguards. That'll further trans employment and if you take good care of them, they'll be further incentivised to keep you safe.
All the best on your plans.
