Question about boymoding

I read that many transwomen present themselves as male and call it boymoding. Reasons can be many from being shy to avoiding harassment or surviving in transphobic place.
I wanted to know from transfemmes who are taking hormones and who have transitioned is it possible to present yourself as male? For how long or indefinitely
Considering there is a lots of problems with IDs and documentation and workplace, if you could present as a male at airports or at workplace that would be super convenient.

asmin There are Trans guys that present as men and some pass even pre T. So i would hazard a guess that similarly a trans femme would be able to boymode given blessings of genetics and a keen fasion sense.

Additionally most transfemmes would have their voice at their disposal should they want to add touch to their boymoding. (Since voice is not affected be E the way it is by T).

Note that gynomasticia is not that rare and quite a few men especially of larger size have visible .. chest fat, so even having modest breast development shouldn't be that much of a hindrance to boymoding i would guess.

Point of note, dressing/mannerisms goes a long way. Before all the modern magical (um.. medical) interventions were possible people used to still be and live as trans persons some even stealth, so i think this certainly possible and one may try seeking tips from trans guys in this matter.

Another point of note. : Airport (domestic) are not that strict about gender coding / dress codes. So you may be able to get through without too much trouble even if your presentation and ID don't match. Just go along with which queue they ask you to go through.

Also India does have trans people and we are well(?) recognised and legal participants in the country. So if you mention you are trans, they should have no reason to deny you boarding or stop you unnecessarily. (Although some may be curious and find it novel).

I have experience going through fem queue pre HRT while I was in fem/unisex attire. And i didn't even initiate it, i was asked move to fem queue as they noticed me standing in the other one. On seeing my boarding pass the lady guard didnt mention it (but did pause for a moment (I think) to recheck 😅). YMMV.

While not on HRT atm, i would like ro present a nugget of experience in this regard.

In my experience, boymoding is not that great (in how it makes me feel). The flare up in dysphoria as you unmake progress and face the ..the sight of you that you had been running from is quite uncomfortable and takes a bit to get used to.

Ofcourse every person's experience of dysphoria can be different. For me, i find solace in the little things I can control, like body hair , or using fem articles like a subtle hairclip while I am forced to externally boymode for reasons.
