I'm by no means against nudism, it's an cool lifestyle, but gender dysphoria and nudism didn't seem to mix well so i didn't make the connection.

Like, one is about body acceptance and comfort while the other is literally the opposite in the sense as most of us reject the body we were born in and the disconnect makes us feel we are in the wrong body? At least, depending on level of dysphoria and how far along transition you are.

Anyway, it's cool. I might even give it a try after my gender affirming surgery when I'm more accepting of my body. ☺️🤭

Not only trans but anyone can try this because naturist are not limited to trans but to those who think they are bound by clothes anyone without any cast or gender can join naturist group but only 18+ are going to enter in naturist community. We can be open in every sense but we have to respect each other as we have not seen nude in open without harming each other self.

I'm not saying anything against the nudist lifestyle as I celebrate different cultures and lifestyles and am always interested to explore new things, but remember that people with gender (and often also body) dysphoria would be the last to participate in nudism. It'll be super hard to pass if you have everything in the open, which can flare up dysphoria even more. 😆

So, please don't take it too hard if people think of you as a creep for bringing this up. It's probably from a lack of understanding than anything else. It's a tough lifestyle to garner support even outside the transgender community because our society sees nudity and sex in the same light.

Let's not forget, to a lot of people, being nude is a vulnerability than being comfortable or free. To some, it's giving up their power or status. Or that their association of nudity with sex is so ingrained they can't see nudism as anything other than some sort of sexual deviance (which they are in favor of or not). Saying stuff like it's only for 18+ when in reality, it's not, somewhat sexualizes it and doesn't help your case. 😅

Also, wanna bring to your attention that being nude in public places in India is illegal. It doesn't matter if you are in a group or by your lonesome. You can face up to 5 years of jail time and up to 10 lakhs fine. Not sure if they eased up on that or different from district to district. So, thread carefully lovelies.

paprika l agree there are rules to be when you are nude but did you noticed that there are no jail for watching porn but in countries where there is jail for porn watching then there is no jail for naturist in same country also nudity is not defined finely in our country whether it is bathing in swimming pool, resort, beach, rain, waterfall, holy places also there is always some sort of nudity which is also a part of nudity even like catwalk in swimsuit, beaches in Goa have nudism in them but all are debarred of any martial law because people enjoy there so before organising our event we have to take prior permission. from local authorities that such event is organised by a group whose consent is already taken and no harm will be done for that in this way it can be fulfilled and if you mix nudism with sex it's oneself mentality to view nudism as sex because girl wearing leggings in sports bra is also a part of nudism where she is flaunting her sexual part so much that even a twelve year child would be ashamed and in public too so how can wecome convict in closed confined places where our party will be fulfilled. Look rape are only done when one want to seee a girl nude and porn too when a man wants to see a girl nude it is his wish to see a girl nude but it's wrong to do sex after seeing nude and had to be changed by naturist group.

Also, why are you talking about porn? I thought the topic was nudism. I'm not comfortable with the direction the post is going. Only replying since I already got dragged into this discussion. 😒

Anyway, I looked it up for you. Jail time and fine is for "public indecency" and "obscenity" and not distinctly nudity itself under Section 294 of the Indian Penal Code. However, it's very subjective because what exactly is obscene? Whether you could get convicted solely depend on the people pressing charges. A mother breastfeeding her baby may not be seen as obscene but a guy prancing around in his buff? That may be seen as obscene.

Nudism is not about wanting to be seen or to see. However, your intentions will be questioned in a cloistered society like India. Even in the privacy of your home, you'll be risking sexual harassment charges if you are consistently nude in front of your window for all to see.

So, don't impose your nudity on unwilling participants, as you can face repercussions. Sure, you can go on explaining to them how nudism is innocent, but it is ultimately subjective if they are willing to listen. This is India, after all.

As to what kind of person I am. I'm the kind of person who didn't default to thinking you had bad intentions. But now, with the talk about porn and wanting the whole world to be nude, I'm not sure what your intentions are...

Look I have researched for 15 years all on nude, trans, naturist, body art, midwifery, spa, piercing everywhere I don't see any fault of being nude unless with wrong intentions. My intention is to educate of the true meaning being a nude.
